How can I get a back issue of The Knitter?

You can see the back issues we have in stock on our subscriptions website, ourmediashop.com. We keep the last six issues in stock.

If the issue you are looking for is older than that, you could try placing a free reader ad on our letters page asking if anyone has that issue and no longer wants it. Email us at theknitter@ourmedia.co.uk and put 'Reader ad' in the email header. We run reader ads in the order we receive them, so there will probably be a delay of a couple of issues between when you send your advert in and when it appears.

Alternatively, you can purchase a digital copy here.

How do I get a job on The Knitter?

Job opportunities on The Knitter are very few and far between – we’re a very tight-knit team (in so many senses!) and people rarely leave. It must be something to do with the general sense of camaraderie or perhaps the sheer volume of yarn and cakes on offer!

There are other job opportunities within our parent company, Our Media.

I’m organising a knitalong/opening a knitting shop/running a knitting workshop. How can I get it mentioned in the magazine?

Email theknitter@ourmedia.co.uk with the details, but please be aware that we receive many requests for events to be covered, and we don’t have space in the magazine for all of them.

How can I get hold of a pattern from a previous issue?

If it is in the last six months, you can probably buy it from our subscriptions website.

If it is older than that, you can buy a digital version of the magazine.

More than six months after publication, some designers choose to self-publish, so do check the designer’s own website, if they have one. We also sell some of our patterns on www.ravelry.com.

I found a mistake in one of your patterns. How can I let you know?

Thanks for spotting that! Please send an email to theknitter@ourmedia.co.uk. You can find our published corrections here.

I have some suggestions. How can I get them to you?

We love to hear from our readers, so please email us at theknitter@ourmedia.co.uk.
