There were some new themes in this series – is there any particular week you particularly enjoyed or found tricky during your time on Sewing Bee

I absolutely loved kids week – I felt in my element! It was such a joyful week with such fun challenges, and I particularly loved the transformation. I’m starting to wonder whether I should be pursuing a career in kids costumes…

Best and worst moment overall for you during the series?

I still can’t believe that I got garment of the week 3 times. With so many incredibly talented sewers around, I felt so lucky. It felt amazing to be learning so much week on week, and I still can’t believe how far I made it. Beyond my wildest dreams! I also loved seeing Luke’s reaction to the winners announcement.

It was so hard to watch some of the sewers leave. You go through so many intense emotional ups and downs together, that you feel so closely connected. There was always a sad moment at the beginning of each week when we realised the group felt so much smaller than the week before.

Would you encourage other amateur sewers out there to have a go on the series and why?

I’d definitely recommend applying to the Sewing Bee, it was such an incredible experience – I learnt so much and found friends for life! It’ll challenge you, but also make you realise how capable you are. I didn’t make it onto Sewing Bee when I first applied at age 18… so I’d also encourage younger sewers to keep applying, you never know when things might go your way!

Will you make again anything from the series, when you are at home and have more time?

I can’t wait to revisit some of my makes from the series, particularly the made-to-measures. I’d love to see what I can do when I’m not under time pressure! I’m also feeling inspired to make a lot more fancy dress costumes…

Do you feel you have progressed now as a sewer?

I learnt so much across my time on the Sewing Bee, more than I ever expected. The judges were so knowledgeable, and the other sewers were so creative, I hope I can take a little bit of their flair and put it into everything I make in the future.

I learnt so much and found friends for life!

What will you take away from your experience of being on The Great British Sewing Bee?

I’m so pleased to have a whole new group of sewing friends, and a lot more knowledge than I had before! I’ll always treasure my experience on TGBSB, and I’m so lucky that I can relive the experience with my friends and family.

What is next for you in the sewing world as far as you know?

I’ve got so much planned! I’ll definitely be back to finishing my 18th century ballgown, but then I hope to expand on my new knowledge by learning to make my own sewing patterns.

Well done to Pascha for making it to the final!

We absolutely loved watching Pascha's talent on Sewing Bee 2024! We're excited to see what she does next on her sewing journey.

The Great British Sewing Bee 2024 is officially finished! It will be back on our screens in 2025, so keep your eyes peeled for the application process.
