Make this fun and easy Mum card with our free printables!

Download our free Mother's Day printables that feature heartfelt messages and fun, feminine prints. This collection of decorative papers designed by Rhiannon Bull is perfect for showing your mum how much you love her, and you don’t even have to wait until the official date – we bet every mum would love to receive these cards any day of the year. We certainly would!

Here, we've created an easy easel card with the standout ‘Mum’ sentiment, using the free floral-patterned paper for the background and we finished it off the design with pink ribbon. You could even make a matching gift tag, by cutting out just the ‘M’ and layering it on the same patterned papers.

And if you like this make, why not check out our full collection of patterned papers – we’re always updating the page with new (free!) downloads, so make sure to bookmark it and keep checking back.

We love seeing what you’ve made, so if you’d like to, don’t forget to share your makes on Facebook or post them on Instagram!

You will need:

  • Card
  • Pattern paper
  • Ribbon

Step 1

Take a 5 x 7in (13 x 18cm) card blank, and mountain fold the front panel in half, so that it meets the middle, to create an easel card. Burnish the fold to create a crisp line.

Step 3

Fussy cut the ‘Mum’ sentiment, attaching so it overlaps the fold. Attach the ‘Thanks for Everything’ sentiment in the centre of the ribbon. Finish by adding gems and a bow.
