Free crochet spider pillow pattern
Here's a creepy crawly make that is the perfect Halloween crochet project. This free crochet spider pillow pattern by Kati Brown uses a host of different techniques that help to make this a frighteningly fun project.
The amigurumi spider pattern is made independently of the spider web pillow pattern so you can always make it by itself - great for if you wanted to know how to crochet a spider to scare your friends with!
Halloween is a favourite holiday for my mom and me. To say we decorate extensively would be a gross understatement. Spider webs are great for adding texture to the décor, so I decided to make a web-shaped cushion. I wanted to avoid any gloomy vibes, so a striped, cute-but-creepy spider seemed like the perfect complement.
Kati Brown
Another benefit of this fab free crochet spider pillow pattern is that you don't need to find a perfectly sized cushion pad to go inside, as the cushion is simply filled with toy stuffing, which helps to really accentuate the spider web shape! There's also two contrasting colour combinations for both the cushion and amigurumi spider pattern!
If this pattern is looking a bit complicated and you're not quite ready for it yet, you could always try something simpler and hook up our free crochet spider web pattern.
