Show your unique personality and transform some plain earmuffs into a crochet masterpiece with this free crochet ear warmer pattern by Lucy Croft. To keep things simple, the pattern uses a single Caron Cake yarn which is separated into individual colours, however you could use a mix of colours of any Aran weight yarn you may have in your stash. This free crochet ear warmer pattern is worked over a pair of plain earmuffs, and would make a fantastic Christmas crochet gift, plus they're perfect for keeping that chilly wind at bay when you're out on your winter walks.
You could also get creative and use this free ear warmer crochet pattern to give your favourite headphones a crochet makeover too - you could easily keep it simple and just use the headband cover section to add some cool stripes to your headphones. You could potentially cover the speaker parts of your headphones too with the cover sections depending on the size of your headphones, however you might need to adapt the inside cover so that it has a circular hole for the sound to come through (for example, you could try starting with 12ch joined into a ring and then carry on from round 2)
