Crochet flower patterns are sure to become your favourite motifs to crochet – not just because they are fun and quick, but also because they are so versatile. Whether you crochet each petal and leaf individually to use for appliqué, or you create more realistic three-dimensional motifs, you can turn your crochet flowers into jewellery, home decor or attach them to bigger projects for an added wow factor. Since we're such big fans, we enlisted Emma Lamb to create a gorgeous crochet pinwheel flower pattern that we can all hook up together. Emma has already created a crochet corsage pattern for us in celebration of British Flower Week and we loved it so much that we had to get her back. These crochet pinwheels will look lovely attached to current WIPS (think crochet blanket patterns, chevron cushions, cardigans or even granny squares) or turned into statement jewellery (earrings, necklace or brooch). Or simply master Emma's free crochet pinwheel pattern and keep a few in your stash for when inspiration strikes.
If you’re new to crochet don’t worry you can still make your own crochet pinwheels. Just head over to our crochet for beginners guide which will teach you all the basic techniques you need. Now over to Emma for her crochet pinwheel flower pattern!
