18 Christmas bedroom decor ideas for a cosy Christmas

1. Fairy lights for your Christmas bedroom decor

undefined

Fairy lights are a no-brainer for Christmas bedroom decor, and adding them to your bedroom can create a beautifully calming feeling, so much so you might want to leave them up all year round!

There are lots of options for where you could place them. If you have a wooden headboard try winding them around it for a warm glow while you read in bed, or put them up around the ceiling for comfortable ambient lighting in your room.

Alternatively, you could opt for cascading lights that you can hang from your curtain rail or walls, we love the styling of @ourhomeinsuffolk’s bedroom.

2. A mini Christmas tree to complete your bedroom decor

Christmas trees aren't just for your living room, they can add a festive touch to your bedroom too. If you only have a small space, then a mini Christmas tree on your dressing table can be just what you need. If you are filling a little more space then a medium tree is a great option, place it in the corner of your room or at the end of your bed.

3. Make yourself a Christmas quilt

We adore this one lovingly made by MarCieloBedding, decorated with bold Christmas trees in a variety of colours and patterns.

We’ll give a pre-warning on this one: don’t leave candles lit in your bedroom, especially underneath hanging Christmas decorations.

We’ve found these candles that are beautifully painted (and too beautiful to be burned) so would make a lovely decoration for your bedroom. Place them on bedside tables or shelves.
