How to make light blue
Place a large blob of white paint next to the blue on your palette. Add the blue in small increments to the white until you reach your desired shade of light blue.
How to make dark blue
You can make your blue darker by adding either black, orange or purple to blue in small increments until you reach your desired shade.
Be careful with black as it is a strong colour and even a tiny amount will have a large effect.
How to make teal
Mix two parts blue, 1 part green and 1 part yellow together on your palette.
How to make turquoise
Mix equal amounts of blue and green together on your palette. You might want to add white to lighten the shade.
